Top seed Ashish Kumar Parida and second seed Simran Neha Ekka both from Odisha won the U16 singles title of boys and girls respectively in the Gurukul AITA-OTA Championship Series (CS3) U16 tennis tournament which concluded here on Sunday.
In Boys U16 Singles final Parida defeated Sangram Kumar Patra of Odisha by 6-4.6-0 and in Girls U16 Singles final Ekka defeated Aditi Pradhan of Jharkhand by 6-2,6-2.
The winner and runners up would get 15 and 10 AITA ranking points respectively. Tournament director Pradeep Pradhan felicitated the winners and runners up in presence referee Jatin Batsya and OTA manager Prakash Pattnaik. A total of 25 candidates participated from four States, i.e., West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and host Odisha.
