BHEL Learning Week being celebrated at Bhopal unit concluded the other day at Human Resource Development Centre Bhopal. During this week, a series of programmes were organised at the unit.

DK Thakur Executive Director inaugurated the programme. Amitabh Dubey, AGM-HRDC, in his Welcome Address enlightened the audience about the history of BHEL Learning Week and shared the thoughts of BHEL CMD with all present. He elaborated the vision of CMD-BHEL, Atul Sobti reiterates, “Learning Process should be given momentum and Learning should be imbibed as a culture, as this is the only attribute which cannot copied.”

RG Dwivedi (Regional Director, PHD Chamber of Commerce) talked about ‘Continuous Learning, Learn by Sharing’ and shared his experiences and explained that Learning is a continues process can be gained not only through experience but also through sharing of that knowledge. Knowledge can be gained through patience and humility. Kiran GovindGavande and Sudam Sitaram Parithe of Mumbai Dabbawala Team explained ‘Process Efficiency Management’ through their work process.

Their simplicity and dedication towards their duty, customer focus, time management, precision, error free distribution of Tiffin Box which has earned them 6Sigma Certification won the hearts of audience.

On September 7, two programmes (Road to 2022 and NEEVATHON) were organized by our Central Planning Division. On September 8, programme on ‘Stress Management and Time Management’ was organized HRDC and faculty was Shammi Sukh, Ex-AGM BHEL.

Besides, two competitions named Advertisement Making on BHEL and Presentation on IMPRESS Projects were also held by HRDC. On September 5, HRDC organized a Training Programme on ‘Industry 4.0’ by Ajay Saxena, Sr DGM (SCT). The next day, HRDC organized a Mega Event at Cultural Hall for all BHEL employees.

In this event, RG Dwivedi (Regional Director, PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry) and Mumbai Dabbawala were invited as Guest Speakers.

M Isadore GM (HR) was present as the Guest of Honour during the Valediction ceremony of BHEL Learning Week. Amitabh Dubey, AGM (HRD) gave Welcome Address. In his Welcome Address, he informed about BHEL Learning Week Theme, Programmes and Competitions held.

At last, prizes were distributed to Winners of various competitions by GM (HR). Also, Judges of the Competitions were felicitated by GM (HR).
