Close contest is likely on Bhopal Central (Madhya) Assembly constituency which is in possession of the BJP and this time too voting on communal lines is expected to decide the fate of the candidates.
BJP MLA from Bhopal Central Assembly constituency and BJP candidate Surendranath said that the issues of shifting of slaughter house and fish market have to be dealt on top most priority. For every development project proposals have been submitted.
It could not be denied that major factor which decides Bhopal Assembly constituency seats are caste and religion above development work in the constituency and Bhopal central assembly constituency has clear demarcations on the basis of communities.
The candidate who could influence votes of other communities would have an upper hand and probability of his winning the contest would be far greater.
Both candidates have their vote bank at the lowest strata of the society which forms the largest number of people who vote for single reason which is to support them and making basic facilities available and the political party do not hold any ground for them but caste and religion also impact their decision to caste vote.
Congress candidate Arif Masud has established image in his community but it is good or bad remains a tough question as the community seems divided on the issue still as he belongs to their religion and community he manages to garner votes in his favour which was witnessed in the last assembly election when he lost by around 6000 votes.
Arif Masud said the problems in the constituency have been there for the past five years and BJP MLA remained negligent towards solving those problems.
Referring to the fewer margin the contest could be evenly poised and mobilization among masses, campaigning and work for the people could come handy this time for contest.
