Bike borne miscreants snatche gold chain from 30-yr-old woman

A 30-year old woman was robbed of her gold chain worth Rs  50,000 near Sai Temple in Rachna Nagar under Govindpura police station area on Wednesday evening.

Police said the victim Swati Dayal Lalchandani was relieved of her gold chain by two bike borne miscreants while she was on her way to temple.

The incident took place at around 7.30 pm when the victim was on her way to temple when bike borne miscreants attacked and managed to get only part of the gold chain as it broke and remaining part of the gold chain fell on the ground. The shocked victim raised alarm but the miscreants managed to escape.

The victim lodged a complaint with the Govindpura police. The police have registered a case under section 392 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Based on the details provided by the victim, the police have started search for the miscreants.

Meanwhile, two employees of Cinepolis were robbed at knife point late in the night near Chetak Bridge; MP Nagar police have started search for the miscreants.

Police said that the victims Akash Arora and Bansilal were on their way to home when they were stopped by two bike borne miscreants and asked to shed money at knife point.

Akash works as manager with Cinepolis while Bansilal in the employee of the Cineplex. The two shed Rs 1200 to the miscreants and managed to notice registration number of the vehicle which was MP-04-NS-5721.

Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police registered a case under section 384 of the IPC and started further investigation.
