The 7th Chandigarh Literature Festival - CLF - started here on Thursday with a panel discussion on "Me Too" controversy with panelists Nilanjana Roy, Annie Zaidi and Gautam Kishanchandani.
Moderated by Akshaya Kumar, the panelists shared their own experiences with the MeToo movement, both in the work environment as well as personal environment. The session captivated the audience’s attention and was followed by an interesting interactive session.
Earlier, the theme was introduced by Mitul Dikshit , Chairman, Adab Foundation and then a festival introduction was given by Annie Zaidi, Festival director.
This panel discussion was followed by a tribute to the 'City Beautiful'- Chandigarh. The book 'The Big Small Town: How Life Looks From Chandigarh' was discussed by critic Sakoon Singh with author Aarish Chhabra.
The inaugural day came to an end with a performance - 'Blank Page' - An Interpretation of contemporary Indian poetry through theatre, music and movement , which was conducted by members of Tamaasha Theatre Group, Mumbai.
