Chief Minister Raman Singh said on Thursday while addressing an election rally at Jobhi village in Kharsia that opposition Congress lacked policy, vision and leadership.
He exhorted voters to elect the BJP for the record fourth term and accelerate pace of development in Chhattisgarh.
“Congress has indulged only in vote-bank politics while the BJP is committed to welfare of common people, the development process needs to go on uninterrupted in the state,’’ Singh remarked.
Kharasia seat in Raigarh district is known as Congress bastion and the BJP has never won it, But this time the saffron party has fielded OP Chaudhry, a local OBC face and former IAS officer, to take on the Congress candidate Umesh Patel.
