Club Literati launches ‘Ultimate Guide to Modern Parenting’

Monday, 12 November 2018 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Few guidelines to good parenting were discussed on Sunday during the launch of the book, ‘Ultimate Guide to Modern Parenting’ by Pradeep Kapoor and Neelkamal Kapoor at Medical college building, AIIMS Bhopal.

The event was organised by Club Literati.

“The book talks about modern parenting. Parenting is an art and it relies heavily on the use of common sense. What works for one child may not work for another, though they are born to the same parents. So every child needs a separate way of  parenting,”  Dr. Pradeep Kapoor, said.

“Several tricky situations arise on a daily basis in every household, which if manhandled may create a major rift between parents and children and even among siblings.

The seeds of distrust and anguish may lead to severe maladjustments in the adulthood, which may prove fatal for the family. So, we need to strike a balance,”  Pradeep Kapoor said.

Children are a versatile combination. They are driven by curiosity and the spirit of adventure. Nurturing their curiosity and showing them the right path depends on the parents.

The book talks about new and modern techniques of parenting trends which over the time needs to change with the changing generation.

“It is a beautiful guide for parents to cope with the newer generation. I take immense pride in having the Club Literati launch this book,” Seema Raizada, President, Club Literati said.

Prof. Sarman Singh, Director AIIMS was the chief gust of the event while Poonam Joshi, moderated the event.
