Senior Congress leaders of the State would start from various district headquarters on Saturday and will join together at Janjgir-Champa to show black flags to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his programmes as a mark of protest against alleged police brutality to Congress activists in Bilaspur.
Party sources informed that Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) president Bhupesh Baghel will proceed from Raipur along with Congress activists while Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly TS Singhdeo will depart from Bilaspur to reach Janjgir on Saturday. Senior Congress leader Charandas Mahant would be present at Janjgir.
All the leaders in the form of three rallies would meet at a point at Janjgir and will jointly move forward to show black flags to oppose the Prime Minister Narendra Modi where he is going to address a public meeting after dedicating to the public Madhwa Power Plant established by the State Government, sources said.
