Congress organises rally ahead of DUSU polls

Ahead of Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections slated for September 12, a huge rally was organised in the north campus of Delhi University by the Congress party in favour of its student wing, the National Students Union of India (NSUI). Senior leaders of the party including  Jai Kishan, former MLA of Delhi Vidhan Sabha, rallied in support of the NSUI panel for DUSU.The rally began from university Metro Station and covered Khalsa College, Miranda House ,SRCC, Ramjas College, Law Faculty ,Hindu College and Kirori Mal college finally ending at the HansRaj College. Hundreds of students and NSUI supporters were present in the rally. Ruchi Gupta,AICC joint secretory, Nadeem Javed, president minority wing started the rally by waving the flags . Jai Kishan said that NSUI is only the student organization that cares for students while others only play politics.
