CRPF trooper ends life

A jawan of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) allegedly committed suicide in Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit Bijapur district on Friday. Constable Sujit Chandra Roy of 168th battalion hanged himself from a ceiling fan in the battalion's headquarters in Bijapur town, 450 km from here, a local police official informed. Roy hailed from Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal, the official said, adding that the cause of suicide was yet to be ascertained.
