With defeat of Bharatiya Janata Party in the assembly polls, the chairpersons of various boards and corporations have started tendering their resignations.
Chairman, Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC), resigned from the post on Wednesday afternoon.
Mundra was bidden farewell by the Corporation employees and officials on Wednesday afternoon.
Speaking on the occasion, Mundra thanked the staff of the corporation for their cooperation in his three-and- half year tenure.
He in his farewell speech also lauded the efforts of Chief Minister Raman Singh for his foresightedness in development of industries in state.
“In the 15 year term the BJP Government had done commendable work in development of industries in the state”, he said.
Mundra further said that at the beginning he faced some difficulties but as he himself was associated with industries he smoothly conducted the work later on.
