Day for road mishap victims organised

The Sankha Dhwani Rasta Surakhya Samiti observed the 23rd Word Day of Remembrance for road accident victims here on Sunday.

A condolence meeting was held with silence prayer for those who lost their lives in road accidents. 108 Ambulance members were covered under Biju Gadi Chalak Surakhya Yojana covering Rs 2 lakh accident risk and medical care. Large numbers of Bhart Scout and Guide students were present.

A silent rally was flagged off by Additional Secretary Niranjan Sahoo from Ram Mandir to Master Canteen.

Industrialist Bimal Mishra, scribe Ashok Panda, PPL safety in-charge Sachitra Rout, Er Debabrata Panigrahi, lawyer KN Das, MVI Majhi, Prajapati Iswariya Mahavidyalaya, Unit -9 centre head Sister Geeta among others were present.
