Mounting a fresh attack on Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government at Centre, spokesperson of All India Congress Committee (AICC) and senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala alleged that ‘selective leakage’ of demonetisation helped Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders to buy property by converting their black money into white.
Addressing a press conference here at State Congress Office Rajiv Bhawan on Tuesday, the Congress spokesperson termed demonetization Rs the biggest ever scams in the history of independent India’.
He also hit out at Modi and termed his claim ‘hollow’ that terrorism and Maoism would be curbed with blockage of funds to them through fake currency from cross borders.
“There were 86 big terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir after demonetization, in which 127 Jawans martyred,’’ he said.
