At Jawahar Bal Bhavan the students filled the atmosphere with devotion and spiritual ecstasy. The students gave performances of devotional music and Garba Raas at Jawahar Bal Bhavan.
On the occasion of Navaratri in Jawahar Bal Bhavan, the Devotional music programme was organized by the modern music division under the guidance of Vijay Sapre. During the performance, the students presented devotional songs dedicated to Goddess Durga.
During the performance, the students gave tribute to all the nine forms of Goddess and even thanked her for her blessings.
The students presented melodious tracks during the performance leaving the audience spellbound. Director of Jawahar Bal Bhavan Umashankar Nagaiych told that the programme was organized on the last day of Navratri by the modern music division, Devi Bhakti. The children gave beautiful presentation of the songs of the Goddess, after hearing the children's parents and the audience became emotional.
The centre of attraction of the programme was Garba dance. Around 30 children participated in the dandiya training and were trained by dance instructor Sangh Mitra Bankar. She taught children the different dance steps of dandiya and garba on traditional garba songs.
They learned Krishna Leela, Holi and other forms that they presented during the programme.
On the concluding day the children performed dance on songs like ‘Pankhira O Pankhira’ leaving the audience mesmerized.
