Ausam Salam and Saksham Kumar students class VIII of Delhi Public School Bokaro along with their two teachers Arun Pandey and Nibha Kumari were conferred with ‘Atal Khel Uplabdhi Samman’ which was given by ‘Krida Bharati’ association of Bokaro on Monday.
Ausam Salam, a versatile swimmer and athlete got the award for winning three gold medals in swimming which includes Junior State 400 metres Freestyle, Junior State 50 metres Freestyle and gold medal for winning Dr. Radha Krishnan Sahodaya Inter-School Swimming individual championship, school PR official informed.
“Saksham Kumar got the award for winning the silver medal in state-level swimming event in Junior Group and fetching Dr. Radha Krishnan Sahodaya Inter-School Swimming Competition silver medal,” he added.
While teachers, Arun Pandey got the award for his contributions in field of Volleyball as he has represented the state in the Senior National and Inter-University level and Nibha Kumari got it for her contributions in Football as she also has represented the state in Senior National and Inter-University level football tournament and also for representing Jharkhand in Handball at Senior National and Inter-University level.
