The Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) jointly with the International Copper Association India, the Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Power Tech Consultants organised a conclave on energy conservation here on Thursday.
Power Tech Consultants senior consultant Bibhu Charan Swain, EESL CGM (Tech) SP Garnaik, Gridco former Director (Commercial) RC Mohapatra and ICAI Manager Abhishek Dhupar attended as guests and spoke on the theme ‘Achieving Energy Efficiency through ESCO Route’.
Dhupar made presentations on topics like global policies, regulation and standards on motor efficiency and Garnaik spoke on achieving energy efficiency through the EESL’s innovative ESCO route. Swain deliberated on importance of achieving energy efficiency through power quality management and harmonies mitigations.
On the occasion, EESL Engineer Nand Kishore Jha also made a presentation on EESL’s national motor replacement programme. More than 70 members including representatives of IMFA, Jindal, Nalco, PPL, Linde India Limited, ICAI, EESL, UCCI and CCPPO were present. A question and answer hour was also held.
