An important meeting of the leaders of Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi) and alliance partners Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Communist Party of India (CPI) was held here on Wednesday.
JCC (J) Supremo Ajit Jogi chaired the meeting.
All the 90 candidates of the alliance and office bearers of district units were present in the meeting which was also attended by Amit Jogi, Richa Jogi, Renu Jogi, Chhattisgarh In-charge of BSP, Ashok Siddharth, BSP leader M.L. Bharti, and CPI leader Manish Kunjam.
The senior leaders of the alliance also gathered feedback from the candidates about the poll percentage.
Later JCC (J) Supremo Ajit Jogi talking to media persons said that the alliance was going to form the government after counting on December 11.
Regarding a query about possibility of tampering of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), Jogi said it was not possible. Regarding attempt of other political parties to allure his party’s MLAs, Jogi said he had faith in his candidates and the anti defection law also protects such an attempt as it needs 2/3rd of the members to make a split.
