Film Division’s ‘For Them’ depicts Indian soldiers’ hard life

Film narrating the pain and grief of family members of an Indian soldier ‘For Them’ was screened at Shaurya Smarak here on Thursday. The movie was screened at the open air auditorium of Shaurya Smarak under the regular film screenings based on the Indian soldiers.

For Them is a picturisation of the families who have lost their near ones at the war scene. This film was produced by Mushir Ahmed for the Films Division of the Government of India and the screenplay and direction of Om Prakash. It is said that the Indian soldier when sacrifices his life on the war land becomes a martyr. He leaves a mark of his enormous memories in the mind and heart of various people, including every Indian. Some of the martyrs leave back an entire memory lane in the mind of their family members.

A brave sacrificial person leaves behind the family, suffers from the misery of life, the family struggling to be freed. This poignant story was portrayed in the movie ‘For Them’.

This movie focuses on the welfare and rehabilitation of martyrs and inspires us to believe in our righteous, moral duty, which is expected to help the families of the martyrs. Friday's film will be screened here in the military movie 'Indian Navy today'. This film is based on the present form of Indian Navy. Produced by Films Division of India,
