To mark the sixth death anniversary of Nityanand Swami, the first Chief Minister of Uttarakhand after the State was carved out of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Nityanand Swami Jan Seva Samity-the society formed in the memory of the leader-distributed blankets and warm clothes among the people belonging to the unprivileged section of the society on Wednesday.
The distribution programme was held from the residence of the leader’s daughter Jyotsna Sharma. Senior members of the society S Farook, Shobhna Rawat, Raghuveer Pawar, Mahander Sharma, Angad Barnala, councillor Manoj Jatav, Shatakshi Shrivastava, Reshu Bansal, Neetika Sharma, Geetika Sharma and Swamiji's grandson Vinayak Sharma Swami were present during the distribution programme along with many others.
