The Forest Department is organising the Anubhuti camp from December 15 this year to enhance sensitivity in school children towards nature, forests and wild animals. As many as 760 students and 44 teachers from 35 schools will take part in the Anubhuti Camp to be organised in the Kanha Tiger Reserve from December 15 to 20 December 2018 and from January 5 to January 11, 2019.
During the camp, selected students will be provided information on the nature, name, behaviour and utility of forests, wild animals, birds and trees through park excursion and nature path tour. They will also be briefed about the introduction of ecosystem, forest soil, root system, components of the tree and the importance of wild animals in human life with the help of the representatives of the Last Wilderness Foundation through nature games. Anubhuti programme will be organised from Mukki, Sarahi and Khatiya tourism gate of Kanha Tiger Reserve. SR
