The IndianOil on Friday suspended a LPG distributor of Kendrapada district, Rajnagar Indane for irregularities in the process of providing LPG connections under the Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana.
As per media reports, LPG distributor Rajnagar Indane was alleged to have provided LPG connections under PMUY to in-eligible beneficiaries. Based on the report, a committee comprising of all the three oil marketing companies was formed to urgently investigate the allegations.
The committee has started investigation and as per preliminary findings, serious irregularity appeared to have been committed by the distributorship in release of PMUY connections.
