Chabindra Karma is Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate from Dantewada as per the announcement made during the declaration of alliance between SP and Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP)here during a media briefing on Sunday.
Both the parties as per alliance would go for total 78 seats, that is SP will fight in 18 seats while GGP will put its candidates in 60 seats.
As per earlier failure of talks for alliance with Congress and Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (JCC) (J), Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) has finally tied up with Samajwadi Party (SP). The alliance would exist in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh also.
SP national vice-president Kiranmay Nanda declared the list of SP candidates, mainly Bijapur candidate Santosh Punem, Jagdalpur Vimlesh Dubey, Danewada Chabindra Karma while the, Rajnandgaon, Khujji and Dongargarh names would be declared later. The list of candidates for second phase are Raipur West Naveen Gupta, Basna Yogendra Bhoi, Akaltara Jeevan Singh Yadav, Pamgarh Mukesh Lahare, Korba Amarnath Agrawal and Vaishali Nagar Subedar Singh Yadav.
Similarly, GGP President Hira Singh Markam made the announcement of candidates. As per the list declared by GGP party President Hira Singh Markam himself is going to contest from Pali Tanakhar (ST) reserve seat. The other candidates are Sanjay Singh Kamro from Baikunthpur, Shyam Singh Markam Bharatpur-Sonhat, Ritu Pandram from Marwahi, Kaleshwar Maravi from Sakti, Laleshwar Jagat from Patthalgaon, Shyam Sundar Maravi from Kunkuri and Sukhraj Poya from Ramanujganj.
Markam said election would be found on issues of farmer where their total loan would be waived off.
He said the alliance is for urban-rural integrated development including, forest, water and environment.
