To Mark the World Children Day Child Rights Week is being celebrated by the young Changeloomers in Harda district. During this Child Rights Week a series of programs is being carried out by the young Changeloomers with the support of Synergy organisation in collaboration with UNICEF which is part of project Youth for children.
As a part of this event, a Flash mob on child rights theme has been performed at three places – Narayan Movie Theater, outside and inside of Nehru Stadium in the district. The young Changeloomers raised child issues like child labor, significance of sports for children, child nutrition, child abuse and education through the Flash Mob. Let’s make Child Friendly environment with lots of love and care everywhere, a strong appeal highlighted in the message given by the youth in blue in their flash mob to sensitize the people of Harda on child rights.
Total 25 youth including 20 Changeloomers- Toshiba, Hema, Suruchi, Janardhan, Shubham, Ganesh, Sulochna, Yogesh, Sateesh, Vinita and Jai, Harshita, Anuj, Yogita , Raviraj, Shivani, Sangeeta, Girija, Antima, Rakesh, Divya, Lalit, Abhishek, Shikha and Neha participated enthusiastically in the event. Former Changeloomer Akram Khan also took part with their 20 students of their own dance institute to spread the message. Around 700 people participated in the event in Harda.
Changeloomers are the group of youngsters who are serving themselves to raising child rights issues like new born care, sanitation and education in Harda district. Training and workshops on child rights and related concerns organize for the youth Changeloomers time to time which is a part of Youth for children project.
