Haryana Universities to conduct research on various topics

In view of the directions of the Haryana Government, all the universities of the state have decided to conduct research on any ancient philosophy, texts, saint- Mahatma or sage-munis so as to achieve better ranking at international level.

On the request of Haryana State Higher Education Council, as many as 11 State Universities and 17 Private Universities have selected their subjects of research.

Chairperson, Haryana State Higher Education Council, Prof. Brij Kishore Kuthiala on Friday said that the main function of the universities is teaching and creating knowledge as well.

He said that the task of the Council would be centered on efforts to find solutions to human and social problems in state universities.

 The universities which have not selected the research topic yet, have also been requested by the council to make a decision by consulting the professors in this matter soon. Subject-centric research is a necessary solution for creating a global level education system in the coming times, he added.

A meeting of all the Vice-Chancellors of the universities of the state was organised under the chairmanship of the Governor recently. Accordingly it was decided that every University would publish research on any ancient philosophy, text,   saint-mahatma and sage-muni, Prof Kuthiala said.

In this context, Guru Jambheshwar University would publish a research book on Maharshi Valmiki, University of Starex, Gururgram on  Aryabhatta,  Maharshi Markandeshwar University would publish a research book on Vedic Mathematics, Al-Falah University Faridabad would publish a research book on Sufi theories and, SRM University, Sonipat would conduct research work on medicinal plants mentioned in Ayurveda.

Similarly, Amity University Gurugram has decided to conduct research about human body cell lipids, Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University on developing technology of making traditional Indian food, JC Bose University, Faridabad on the natural languages used in computers. Similarly, Northcap University would conduct research on the subject of animation and gaming and Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani would conduct research on traditional medicine used in India and China, he added.
