Farmers to get incentive in accounts

Bhopal: The incentive amount payable to the registered farmers eligible under the Mukhya Mantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana will be transferred to the verified bank accounts of farmers through RTGS/NEFT on a single click. The eligible registered farmers will be notified about the incentive payment transfer via SMS on their registered mobile numbers immediately. This incentive amount will be given for onion, garlic, gram, masoor, mustard, summer moong and summer urad crops under the scheme. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will transfer the incentive amount in the bank accounts of the eligible registered farmers of the district at the Kisan Mahasammelan being organized in Pipariya (Hoshangabad) on September 28. The same day district level Kisan Sammelans will be organized in all the districts where the incentive amount will be transferred to the eligible farmers in their verified bank accounts. Principal Secretary Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Rajesh Rajoura has issued detailed guidelines regarding distribution of the incentive amount and the Kisan Sammelan to the collectors of all districts except Neemuch, Ratlam and Mandsaur district.

Forest collectors get double remuneration

Bhopal: The state government has doubled the cash payment of remuneration and bonus to the small forest produce collectors and. So far the collectors were being paid cash up to Rs 1K, which has now been increased to Rs 2000. Chairman of Rajya Laghu Vanopaj Sangh Shri Mahesh Kori said that this increase has been done in view of the long standing demand being made by the collectors. The amount of remuneration and bonus worth more than Rs 2000 will be made through e-payment in their bank account.

3rd Edition of CSR Conclave

Bhopal: Addressing the opportunities and challenges in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Madhya Pradesh is organizing 3rd Edition of CSR Conclave here on September 29. The conclave hopes to lay the way forward by bringing together key stakeholders, from business to civil society. There will be a gathering of top business leaders, CSR heads and teams, Non-­profit leaders, industry bodies, community organizations, policy ­makers, and CSR professionals to exchange insights, discuss issues of importance and forge impactful partnerships in social impact. This programme is also for those too who come outside the purview of Act and are involved in CSR activities, totally on voluntary basis.

‘Run to Give’ held by Marriott

Bhopal: A large number of Marriott associates and citizens participated in ‘Run to Give’ charity run early this morning that was organized by Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal. This run also took place in 206 locations across Asia Pacific on Monday. Debuted in 2014, the annual ‘Run to Give’ brings hotel associates together to organize runs in different cities to support local charities. This year Courtyard by Marriott in Bhopal participated to join efforts to raise funds for Rising Star Outreach, an NGO based in Chennai, directly impacting the lives of children affected by leprosy in Marriott Home, where they are lovingly cared for and given a new lease of life. The 3.5 kilometer run that received huge response was flagged off at 7 am on Sunday morning by Rakesh Upadhyay, General Manager Courtyard Marriott Bhopal from hotel premises. It went around nearby locations and culminated at hotel.

Awareness rally, street play conducted

Bhopal: An awareness rally and street play was conducted in Adampur Chawni (BHEL adopted village) on Monday. Students of Kasturba Nursing college, Govt Primary School and Middle School (Adampur) participated in the rally which covered the complete village. There after a street play was demonstrated by the nursing college students covering various topics such as sanitation, waste segregation, cleanliness, hygiene and other issues of general awareness. The play was viewed by approximately 200 villagers and students.

7 get farewell from BHEL

Bhopal: In a simple programme held at third floor administrative building DK Thakur, Executive Director BHEL, Bhopal bade farewell to AK Kiyawat, General Manager along with 7 other employees retiring from the organization on attaining the age of superannuation.  On this occasion all general managers and other senior officials were present.
