Aishwarya Singh in U14 NCC

Bhopal: Student of Campion School Arera Colony Bhopal, Aishwarya Singh has been selected in Football boys U14 Pre National coaching camp. This Pre National coaching camp is going to be held for five days from of November 20 to 24, 2018 in Gwalior. In this Camp, which is being organised by School games federation of India (SGFI), 22 Boys Football players’ different districts and different Government, Private, CBSE and Other Schools of Madhya Pradesh in the age group of 14 will be participating. In this camp Boys from Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Chhindwara, Aasta, Shahdol districts from Madhya Pradesh will participate.

SPS students visit Science fiesta

Bhopal: Students of Class VI and VII at Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar visited the 'Science Fiesta 2018' held at Regional Science Centre on Monday. The Fiesta included the activities and information of products and publications of IISS, IGRMS, CIAE, MP Vigyan Sabha, AMPRI, BGVS etc. The students got exposure to various scientific theories, inventions and ideas in the field of science, history, archaeology, geology agricultural and applied sciences. During the visit, Sagarites acquired knowledge on skills to develop their scientific temperament to emerge as young entrepreneurs.

Speaking on the visit of students, Principal, Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, Jaishree Kanwar said, “We will continue with our efforts to nurture creative minds of students by creating opportunities for our students.”

Regional museum organises street play

Bhopal: Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal organized a Street Play based on Clean Air at Regional Science Centre, Bhopal in Science Fiesta on Tuesday. The Street Play on ‘Botal Band Hawa’ (Clean Air) was performed by Child Artists of Jawahar Bal Bhawan, Bhopal under the direction of KG Trivedi.

During the street play child artists informed to the students and general public about the need, value nd importance of clean air. During the Street Play, child artist detailed about the causes and affect of air pollution on health and appealed was made to keep clean around them, plant more trees and use the public transport.

During the street play, Scientist-In-charge Manoj Kumar Sharma and Scientist-B Beenish Rafat, Project Coordinator of Regional Science Centre Prabal Roy, students from various schools and audiences were present. Beenish Rafat, Scientist-B was the Coordinator of the programme.

Prohibitory action against over 1.6L people

Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer VL Kanta Rao has informed that after imposition of the Model Code of Conduct, prohibitory action has been taken against 1,66,559 persons to maintain law and order between October 6 and November 19, 2018. During this period, 48,780 non-bailable warrants have been issued. In addition, 4,666 illegal weapons have been seized and 2,61,638 weapons have been deposited in the police stations.

Total 18,96,998 cases have been registered under property defacement out of which action has been taken in 18,41,715 cases. Under government property defacement 14,06,948 cases have been registered while action has been taken in 13,71,792 cases. Out of 4,90,050 cases registered under private property defacement, action has been taken in 4,69,923 cases. During this period 13,535 cases have been registered for misuse of vehicles.

Guv greets people on Eid Milad-un-Nabi

Bhopal: Governor Anandiben Patel congratulated and extended greetings to the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed Saheb on Eid Milad-un-Nabi. Patel has said that Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Saheb spread the message of peace, unity and brotherhood in the world. His personality, creativity and ideals are exemplary for the whole world.

Patel called upon the youth to follow the teachings and ideals of Hazrat Mohammad Sahib and walk on the path of peace and non-violence.
