DAVians celebrate Diwali 

Bhubaneswar: The DAV Public School Pokhariput here celebrated Diwali with a message of “Green Diwali”. Students performed a dance on the theme aimed at protecting environment. Rangoli and Deepa-making competitions were also held among students and the winners were felicitated. School Principal Dr Sujata spoke about the impact of bursting crackers in Diwali on the environment and urged the students to burst green crackers. Diwali was also observed in the premises of the DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar here. 

SKIS celebrates Diwali with fervour 

Bhubaneswar: The Shree Krishna International School (SKIS) celebrated Diwali with fervour in the school premises here. Chief guest school chairman Pabitra Routray inaugurated the programme. Rangoli and Deepa-making competitions were held among students. School Principal Dr Swarupananda Mishra told students why the Diwali is celebrated. Vice-Principal Kabindra Dash coordinated the programme.
