Save energy, says MD of PSPCL

Ludhiana: Each and Every citizen of the society can save energy by eliminating unnecessary use of home appliances or other electrical gadgets used in day to day life and can play a major role for energy conservation for the state, Baldev Singh Sran, CMD PSPCL said here while addressing the state Level Energy Conservation Day function. PSPCL and Punjab Energy Development Agency had organised a State Level Energy Conservation Day function on Friday.

Interprint Expo India 2018 gets underway

Chandigarh: India’s first-of-its-kind exhibition on packaging, printing and allied machinery, Interprint Expo India 2018 was inauguarated at Exhibition Ground, Sector-34, Chandigarh. The exhibition is on from December 14 to 17. Organised by Offset Printer’s Association (OPA) and Udan Media and Communications, the exhibition is showcasing the latest developments in Printing & Packaging; spurring both the industries to reach new heights.  The expo is showcasing the latest developments in the field of print technology.

conclave at Bhavan Vidyalaya

Chandigarh: One day education conclave ‘Mentor Connect’ by LXL Ideas was organized in Bhavan Vidyalaya School Sector 27 Chandigarh. The session conducted by Syed Sultan Ahmed witnessed saw good participation.  During the session, he talked about the need for change in the education system & the value it will bring to the sector. The programme aimed at imparting knowledge by sharing insights that can be implemented and real life scenario.

Sahaja Yoga's Music and Meditation Event

Chandigarh: Sahaja Yoga team Chandigarh organized a Sahaja Yoga Music & Medication Event by Music of Joy, an Australian Musical Group at Tagore Theatre here. The Chief Guest of the event was Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India and Davesh Moudgil, Mayor. Singh talked about the association between SBI and Sahaja Yoga and appreciated the performance by the MOJ team.

Writeshop by Haryana's Climate Change Dept

Chandigarh: Haryana Environment and Climate Change Department is organising a 3-day Writeshop on Project Formulation: Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation from December 17 to 19 at Hotel Shivalik View, here. The Writeshop will be attended by 40 officers of different departments of the State Government. Additional Chief Secretary, Environment and Climate Change Department, Dheera Khandelwal would inaugurate this Writeshop.

Haryana Police seizes illicit IMFL

Chandigarh: Haryana Police on Friday said, it has seized 414 boxes of illicit IMFL and country made liquor from a tractor-trolley from adjoining Punjab border area in district Sirsa and arrested one people in this connection. The seized liquor was being illegally transported to Punjab.
