The two-day 4th International Conference on Next Generation Computing Technologies (NGCT2018) being hosted by School of Computer Science, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) would commence at the Bidholi campus of the university on Wednesday . The conference is being co-sponsored by UCOST, CSIR India, DRDO, Elsevier and Sumeru Infrastructures.
In its fourth version, the conference offers an opportunity to researchers and academicians to discuss and share the cutting edge research issues and ideas on the theme ‘Computational Intelligence’, the organisers said and added that in all, 115 research papers of the researchers from the reputed national and international Institutes across the world have been selected after rigorous review process.
Dr Manish Prateek, Dean – School of Computer Science Engineering & Conference Chair- informed that Rajendra Dobhal, director general, UCOST, Dehradun, would inaugurate the conference. Other eminent persons who would address and share their thoughts with the audience include Durgesh Pant, director, USERC; Marcin Paprzycki, associate professor at the Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences; E G Rajan, founder president of the Pentagram Research Centre (P) Ltd., Hyderabad, India; Deepak Bhaskar Phatak, recipient of the “Excellence in Teaching” award and Anurag Mishra, associate professor at University of Delhi.
