Investiture ceremony of school held with pomp

The Investiture Ceremony of Hema Hr. Sec. School was held on Thursday in the School Quadrangle with great pomp and dignity.

On this day students vowed to uphold the values of the School.  The Chief Guest on this occasion was S. K. Rout, Ex-DGP, Bhopal, (M.P.) and Guest of Honour was Reeta Rout, Academician and Social Worker. The Swearing-in-Ceremony was graced by the Principal Usha Nair, Vice-Principal, Pamela Abraham, Headmistress, Peyali Sinha, teachers, students and Parents of the newly elected Cabinet.

The Chief Guest was welcomed in a traditional way of Kerala with Talapoli accompanied by the School band. The Chief Guest received salute from the Cabinet Members. The programme started with lighting of the lamp followed by Prayer Dance which signified leadership and courage.

Head Boy Rohit Das and Head Girl Medhavi Tripathi and other elected members were conferred with badges and sashes by the honourable Chief Guest. The student’s council took the pledge to hold the motto of the school in high esteem. The Chief Guest in his address reminded the students the responsibilities that come with the post held by them in the school cabinet.

The President Binu Jacob in his speech has reminded the cabinet members to discharge their duties diligently and with utmost truthfulness and sincerity. The programme came to an end with National Anthem.

The event was graced by President Binu Jacob, Vice-President A. Shashi Kumar, Secretary G. Thulasidharan and other Governing Committee members.
