The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released its 20-member star campaigners’ list for electioneering in the state for its General Assembly Election 2018 for which the schedule has been announced by the Election Commission of India.
AAP has claimed to fight in the 90 seats. In the letter submitted to Election Commission of India, the list of 20 star campaigners has been named.
As per the list Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kerjiwal, deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, minister Gopal Rai, the Chief Minister candidate for Chhattisgarh Komal Hupendi and State coordinator Dr Sanket Thakur find the name for star-campaigners.
The others are Sanjay Singh, Dr Sushil Gupta, Narain Dass Gupta, Rajender Pal Gautam, Somnath Bharti, Sanjeev Jha, Vandana Kumari, Manoj Kumar, Ajay Dutt, Rituraj Jha, Akhilesh Tripathi, Soni Souri, Suraj Upadhyaya, Ravi Manav and Narendra Duggad.
As per party sources, soon the programmes for the star campaigners would be finalised. The dates for trip to Chhattisgarh and where and when the meetings are to be held will be decided. The AAP has planned for a public meeting of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in each revenue division for which the preparations are underway.
