With change of regime in Chhattisgarh, there has been change in the social media profile of the political leaders too. One of the key names is former Chief Minister Raman Singh.
After his resignation as Chief Minister, he had changed his Twitter profile name and instead of writing as former Chief Minister, he now writes as ‘Chhattisgarh Mahtari Ka Sevak’ (Servant of Mother Chhattisgarh).
Generally, the leaders have the tendency to keep their profile linked with their former title or the chair they had held but Raman Singh has avoided it.
Similarly, late last night after taking oath of office and secrecy, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also changed his twitter profile name.
Now, it states ‘The Official Twitter Account of Bhupesh Baghel, Chief Minister, Chhattisgarh, India.
One of his maiden tweet after taking over charge as Chief Minister was the first cabinet decisions taken highlighting the farmer loan waiver, providing minimum support price of Rs 2500 per quintal of paddy and formation of SIT.
