Man’s body found in Narela

The body of a man was found dumped on isolated road near fields in National Capital’s Narela area in Rohini district on Tuesday.

According to Rajnish Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Rohini district, they received a Police Control Room (PCR) call around 7 am on Tuesday . “The body was spotted by a passerby who informed police following which a team rushed to the spot.

On reaching the spot, we found the body of a man, apparently between 50 and 55 years of age, dumped on a roadside near an isolated area in Holambi Kalan village area in Narela," said the DCP. 

"During our initial investigation, we found a visible bullet injury mark on the chest of the body. We have registered a case and started our investigation," said the DCP adding that they are also scanning through the profiles of missing persons.

"We are also probing all angles including that of personal enmity.

Further the body is yet to be identified only after which the body will be send for autopsy," the DCP added.
