Berasia police have booked a miscreant for sexually assaulting a 29-year-old schoolteacher at Billod trisection on September 6; a case was registered on Thursday after the victim lodged a complaint.
Police said that the victim was taken to Ganj Basoda by the accused identified as Radhyeshyam Meena on September 6 while the victim was on her way to school and later sexually assaulted her. The victim was later dropped in Berasia and before leaving the accused threatened her of dire consequences if she reports the incident but the victim braved to lodge a complaint with the Berasia police on Thursday. After the accused got information regarding the complaint he went absconding and is still at large.
After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and started further investigation. The details of the accused are yet to be found as the victim was not acquainted with the victim but she was aware that he used to tease her. The crime record of the accused would be searched.Family members of the accused would be questioned which could help in finding the whereabouts of the accused.
Victim in her complaint stated that she was taken by accused to his friend’s house in Ganj Basoda where she was sexually assaulted.
