MP Cong plans Jan Ayog to probe corruption under BJP Govt

Thursday, 13 September 2018 | Girish Sharma | Bhopal

Madhya Pradesh Congress is all set to form a Jan Ayog to investigate corruption by the BJP government in the past 15 years, after coming to power. It has also decided to introduce a new policy for sand mining and others.

Instead of working on the ground, Madhya Pradesh Congress and the PCC Chief are busy in convening marathon meetings at the PCC headquarters soon after he assumed office around four months ago.

Other announcements of Nath included establishment of a Gaushala in each panchayat, while the fact is that the pasture in the villages has been abolished by the previous Digvijay Singh government. Nath has also declared that loans of the farmers would be waived off.

Of Late, PCC Chief Kamal Nath has started addressing public meetings and he has addressed 16 meetings till date.

Whether in his public meetings or press conferences, he criticized the State government and declared what are his plans when his government comes to power. Time and again, he has stressed on investigating corruption of the BJP government after the Congress comes to power. The state of affairs clearly indicates that instead of going to the ground, the Congress leaders and workers are confident that Congress would form government in the assembly elections scheduled in November this year.

In Congress assessment, the entire election revolves around Chief Minister Shivraj and his positive image needs to be dented; so the entire focus of the Congress in the coming days, will be to show Chouhan as villain of the piece.

Congress has enlisted all the government schemes that are benefiting only people belonging to saffron party and the corruption or scams reported in media in the past. It is being mulled as how action would be taken against BJP leaders and ministers after Congress wins the elections.

It was only Digvijay Singh, who had on Tuesday indicated possibility of coming to power. To a media query, he said, “If Congress comes to power it would decide its chief ministerial face in the State.”

State BJP Spokesperson Rajneesh Agrawal told ‘The Pioneer’ Congress leaders are engaged in talks only and they donot have any ground preparation to give strong fight to the BJP in the elections. “PCC Chief Kamal Nath Madhya Pradesh ki Janata to pappu banana ka kaam kar rahe hain,” he said, adding that people are of the State are quite intelligent and they know better Nath and his party.

Agrawal claimed that Nath is here only for election tourism and after the elections, he would fly for New Delhi.
