Newly-appointed State Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel accompanied by his two Cabinet colleagues T S Singhdeo and Tamradhwaj Sahu and party leaders visited Chhattisgarh State Assembly on Tuesday.
Prior to this, Baghel went to Swami Vivekananda Airport to see off All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and In-charge of Chhattisgarh P L Punia and from there, he directly proceeded towards Chhattisgarh Assembly.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by cabinet ministers T S Singhdeo, Tamradhwaj Sahu and senior Congress leader Charandas Mahant.
Newly elected Congress MLAs and party workers were also present.
Baghel and other leaders offered floral tributes to portrait of Guru Baba Ghasidas on the occasion of Guru Ghasidas Jayanti.
The Chief Minister later interacted with the State Assembly officials and employees and later completed all the official formalities of the State Assembly.
