like previous years, this year also more than 100 students from 35 engineering colleges/institutes from different parts of the country are participating, and around 55 technical papers are to be presented in two parallel sessions.
Dr S K Das, chief scientist and advisor (NKN & ICT), CSIR-NMl, Jamshedpur welcomed the chief guest and the student delegates. He gave a glimpse of the Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME) and he highlighted the machine learning technique to shorten the development period of any new materials for future generation.
Debashish Mazumdar, president (works) & head, steel business, Usha Martin limited, Jamshedpur, appreciated the involvement of huge number of student participants from metallurgical fraternity in this historical event.
