Party’s ‘fourth win’ will be ‘Rajtilak’ of workers: CM

Saturday, 22 September 2018 | Staff Reporter | Raipur

No barriers can cause any hindrance to stop party workers, if they have the obsession to work hard and are striving continuously for welfare of the people, Chief Minister Raman Singh said on Friday.

“This is what the party workers had done in past three occasions in 2003, 2008 and 2013 in Chhattisgarh. They are the core strength of the party and are helping to repeat formation of government for the fourth consecutive time and also to set a record,” he said.

It would be the ‘Rajtilak’ of the party workers, said Singh.

He was addressing the Shakti Kendra Karyakartha (Booth Level Workers) Conve-ntion held at Logistic Park premises here. Shah along with other party leaders were present.

Making a call to the party workers, the CM said they should make promise to the BJP national president Amit Shah to win the State election by 65-plus seats in 2018 and also the 11 Lok Sabha seats in 2019 to form the BJP Government again at the Centre. “Every worker has something in hand for comparison; Chhattisgarh before 2003 and after fourteen-and-a-half years of BJP rule and four years of Modi Government, where it stands now,” he said.

The CM said party workers have to reach 32 lakh beneficiaries of both State and Central schemes. Highlighting details of few schemes and decisions to be spread among electors, Singh said that in memory of founder of Chhattisgarh, former PM late Atal Bihari Vajpayee memorial soil from each village would be collected, for the ‘Atal Memorial’, paddy is being procured at rate of Rs 2,050/Rs 2,070 per quintal while Rs 750 crore bonus is being distributed to tendupatta collectors, among others.

He asked the workers to recall the terror period from 2000 to 2003 when 5 quintals of paddy was being purchased and before procurement, paddy was being dipped in water to test it, those were the days, which are now gone in past, Singh said.
