Paryatan Parv was celebrated at Oxford Public school here on Tuesday. On this occasion, Principal Suraj Sharma highlighted the benefits of visiting different places of historical and cultural importance. He further added that tourism brings mutual understanding, national unity and social harmony. Harinder Kaur briefed the students about the initiative of the government for promoting tourism. Sudip Ghoshal emphasized how to appreciate the architecture, cuisines and cultures of different states of our country and how to respect our cultural and historical assets. In this programme, 300 students of the school participated and they shared their experiences of visiting different tourist places of India. A quiz programme was organised for the students of the school on this topic.
