Police cyber crime cell nab 32-year-old

Cyber crime cell of Madhya Pradesh police has nabbed a 32-year-old man on the charge of sending of obscene videos to women; accused who is priest and used to send obscene videos to women where he used to offer Pooja, said police.

The accused was social media addict and used to send obscene messages and videos to women using SIM cards issued in the name of other persons.  Police said that one of the victim women of Sehore lodged complaint with the Cyber Cell regarding receiving of porn video and messages.

The victim lodged a complaint with the Cyber Cell regarding the accused who used to send her obscene messages and videos from different mobile numbers. SP Cyber Cell Rajesh Bhadoria said that cyber crime has solved a case of Distorted Mentality and nabbed a miscreant from Sagar. The miscreant nabbed was identified as Jaishankar Katare of Sagar.

During the investigation the accused told the police that he used to watch porn and send obscene messages videos to women.

Based on the complaint during the investigation it was found that the WhatsApp numbers were operated from Sagar and in the further investigation the accused was narrowed down in Kusum colony in Dewri. He was nabbed and it was found that accused work as priest and targeted women of the houses where he used to offer Pooja.

The accused is a final year student of Bachelor of Arts. Police have registered a case under sections 67 and 67A of the IT Act and sections 354 D and 509 of the IPC.
