Six member gang of Shabad alias Zehreela were paraded by TT Nagar police who were involved in arson, extortion, opening fire at police personnel and threatening of witness and created chaos in the TT Nagar area on Wednesday.

CSP TT Nagar Satish Samadhiya said that all the five accused who were involved in creating nuisance in TT Nagar area on Wednesday were nabbed and paraded on Thursday.

The main accused Shadab has been booked for over 20 cases of serious nature and is a watch list criminal of TT Nagar police. The gang members have been nabbed. Shadab was wanted in other cases also, he added.

The six accused were identified as Shadab alias Zehreela(33), Golu alias Teji (26), Arbaz Khan (18),  Chotu alias Shahid (22) of Banganga, Sohail Khan (25) of Rajeev Nagar and Shehzaad Khan(24) of Koh-e-Fiza. 

The police have registered a case under section 392, 435, 427, 341, 307, 353, 294 and 34 of the IPC.

The main accused Shadab was booked under NSA on Wednesday.

On November 13 notorious criminal Shadab went on crime spree he along with other gang members threatened and pressurise Pintu Kashyap at Jawahar Chowk for withdrawal of attempt to murder case, set car of owner of Kohli sports late in the evening after he refused to extort money. Shadab escaped from the spot and later opened fire at police personnel of Charlie team when the police personnel tried to chase and nab him where he was nabbed by the police personnel.

After the incident police swung into action and all police stations, check posts and patrolling parties and police personnel were alerted to nab the accused.
