On the demand of local residents, a police post has been set up at Asma Vihar Colony under Clement Town police station. local MlA and Mayor Vinod Chamoli inaugurated the police post in the presence of local police station officer and local residents.
Four CCTV cameras have been installed at police post so that suspects roaming around the colony area could be identified to enable necessary legal action against them. It must be written here that crime graph had taken a huge jump in the recent past and the local residents had always protested against it.
