Policeman suspended for unruly behaviour

Hazaribagh Superintendent of Police Mayur Patel today suspended a policeman Nitesh Singh, his bodyguard,  who was involved in a clash at a banquet hall injuring two persons.

On September 17 evening Aarambh banquet hall was booked for a party. Dancers from West Bengal were called making many to leave the party seeing the vulgarity. In between Nitesh and his men thrashed banquet hall owner Praful Singh and his brother Vicky.

Sources said Nitesh and his friend Pintu Singh had booked the hall for a party. Both invited their friends and other known persons. As the party started, dancers who were called from West Bengal started performing. In between Nitesh, Pintu and their friends started offering liquor to guests. Soon vulgarity reached to its maximum making many to leave. Owner Praful Singh tried to convince Nitesh and Pintu when many drunken guests started smashing liquor bottles and started  misbehaving with dancers. This infuriated duo had and heated exchange of words with the owner and his brother Praful and Vicky, who were beaten up mercilessly. Vicky was given eight stitches on his head, whereas Praful who sustained serious injuries referred to Ranchi.Hazaribagh, SP Mayur Patel termed the matter serious.
