N Baijendra Kumar, IAS, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of NMDC Limited, stated that he is proud to be part of steel giant NMDC where some of the best HR practices are in place to keep its employees engaged and motivated to take this company to scale new heights of excellence.
He made the remark while celebrating 61st Foundation Day of the NMDC, India’s largest iron ore producer and exporter in public sector, on Thursday at company headquarters in Hyderabad.
Congratulating the recipients of prestigious long service awards, Kumar appreciated the well established corporate culture of NMDC.
He stressed upon the importance of such awards being given to employees in recognition of their services.
NMDC celebrated its 61st Foundation Day at its headquarters in Hyderabad as well as at its major production units such as Bacheli and Kirandul in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district.
Incidentally, NMDC is also celebrating Diamond Jubilee Year in 2018 by organising many mega events such as National and International Seminars, Marathons, Cultural Programmes.
Kumar was the chief guest of the celebrations at Corporate Office. Dr.N.K.Nanda, Director (Technical), Dr.T.R.K.Rao, Director (Commercial), P.K.Satpathy, Director (Production) and Sandeep Tula, Director(Personnel) graced the occasion along with senior officials of Head Office.
