On the second day of U-19 Inter School Basket Ball Tournament the players gave a tough fight to each other. Here on Friday the quarter-finals were played between the teams at St Joseph’s Coed School.

Coordinator Faisal Bilgrami was present during the quarter final matches and encouraged the children to perform well in the tournament and give their best. The first match was played between boys category Delhi Public School (DPS) Neelbad and Mother Teresa School. In this match DPS defeated Mother Teresa School with 40-11 points.

Next match was played between St Raphel School and Ludramata School. St Raphel defeated Ludramata with 34-15 points. The third match was played between Campion School and Orion International School in which the team of Campion School emerged as the winner and defeated Orion with 32-4 points.

The fourth quarter final was played between St Joseph’s Coed School and Sharda Vidya Mandir in which St Joseph’s Coed School emerged as a winner with 50-34 points. After the quarter finals matches, semi-finals were played.

The first semi-final match was played between St Jospeh’s Coed and St Raphel School. In this match, St Joseph’s Coed School won the match by 38-4 points. Next semi final was played between DPS Neelbad and Campion School. After giving a tough fight DPS Neelbad defeated Campion School by 44-33 points. In girls category, first quarter was played between St Joseph’s Convent and Ludramata in which St Joseph’s convent won with 32-0 points. Next match was played between IES and St Theresa’s in which St Theresa’s won with 16-1 points. The final match was played between St Joseph’s Convent School and DP[S in which DPS defeated St Joseph’s Convent by 54-53 points.
