All India Congress Committee (AICC) Chief Rahul Gandhi has approved the proposed day-long tour of Chhattisgarh on October 22.
The tour programme includes the AICC Chief addressing a massive Farmers’ Convention in Raipur, informed Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) President, Bhupesh Baghel on Monday.
He said Chhattisgarh in-charge of AICC, PL Punia had telephonically informed about the approval of AICC Chief for his tour to the State on October 22. Baghel said time and place of the public meeting in capital is yet to be finalised.
Notably, earlier the AICC Chief cancelled his tour programme scheduled on October 12. He was then busy in tour of other poll-bound States of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
