The train services of South Eastern Railway were affected since Monday morning due to Rail Roko campaign called by the supporters of Tribal Organization on issues not related to railways. As a result, the trains were cancelled or short terminated.
Train no 22841 Santragachi-Chennai Central Antyodaya Express was cancelled while 18409 Howrah-Puri Jaganath Express was cancelled. Train no 12871 Howrah-Titlagarh Ispat Express was short terminated at Mecheda, while train no 12872 Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Express at Tatanagar on will run as 12871 from Tatanagar to Titlagarh.
Train no 12821 Howrah-Puri Dhauli Express was short terminated at Belda. The service between Belda and Puri remained cancelled. Train no 22857 Santragachi-Anand Vihar Express will be short terminated at Uluberia. The service between Uluberia and Anand Vihar will remain cancelled.
