Raman Singh to file nomination on Oct 23

SBharatiya Janata Party announced the list of candidates for the upcoming State General Assembly Election 2018 in which Chief Minister Raman Singh has been retained and will contest in his native constituency of Rajnandgaon.

Meanwhile, with election star campaigners of different parties have also started to arrive in Chhattisgarh. Under this series, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to arrive at Rajnandgaon on October 23. As per sources, Chief Minister would file his nomination papers accompanied by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Raman Singh after the declaration of list of Chhattisgarh BJP candidates at New Delhi returned to Raipur late night. Chief Minister said that in first phase of 18 seats, the BJP candidates would be filing nomination papers on October 22 and 23. October 23 is the last date for filing of nomination papers till 3.00 pm.

As per party sources, Yogi Adityanath would be present when all the six candidates of six State Assembly constituencies of Rajnandgaon would file the nomination papers. State top leaders are also likely to register their presence during filing of nomination papers. First the 77 candidates were announced later Subhau Kashyap was declared candidate for Bastar, as per party sources.

CM after arrival from New Delhi has said that nowhere there is dissatisfaction over the declaration of candidates as based on the choice of party workers, the candidates have been declared. On remaining seats, Dharamlal Kaushik said that now there is no need for meeting of election committee as national president would soon announce the name of candidates in remaining seats.
