Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh along with wife Veena Singh and Member of Parliament son Abhishek cast vote at his hometown in Kawardha.
Speaking to media persons on the occasion, Singh expressed hope that the Bharatiya Janata Party was going to achieve the set target of 65 plus seats and will going to form the Government for the fourth consecutive time.
“The long queue of voters and their overwhelming response and record turnout proves that in the second phase we are getting more than 50 seats, he said.
Commenting on existence of third front, Singh said it would be benefitting the BJP if it gets the vote share in between 6-8%.
He also mocked the Congress over their complaints regarding Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). When they get positive results in Punjab they were mum over the use of EVMs, he said.
