Dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi's 149th Birth Anniversary and to emulate his principles of simple living and oneness among the students, Sarala Birla Public School (SBPS) organised a Social Science Exhibition- 'Reverberations' on the school premises. Different exhibits which included various charts and models were put up by the students of Std. KG to V along with the help of their mentors.
The models included the French Revolution, Swachhta Abhiyan, the Seven Wonders of the world, Haldighati Battlefield, working in Coal Mines, working of Bangle Industries, working of Wind Mill and Solar Panel, Volcanoes, Jog Fall, tribal weapons etc. The working of the models and the charts were explained by the students which were highly appreciated by all the visitors. A book fair was also organised on the school premises which added value to the event.
School Head Personnel & Admin. Pradip Varma praised the sincere effort of the students and teachers and said that through such exhibitions students learn things practically in addition to the theoritical knowledge. Principal Paramjit Kaur appraised the magnificent work done by the students. She further added that such exhibitions will help to lift up the spirits of the students to do excellent work in future too.
